Puamun Meshkenu manages a website that allows people to share their dreams with the Dream Stick. The website provides information on the process and the dreams of those who decide to participate.

 

General Principles:

The information disseminated is part of the process of depositing a dream in the Dream Stick, and the shared resources aim to:

- Explain the objectives of the process;

- Allow the expression of dreams of youth, children, and families, respecting others, to help them develop their full potential.

 

Website Content:

The content of the website is divided into two parts: information provided by the site administrator and contributions from participants.

 

Information provided by the site administrator:

The language used to disseminate information on the site is French and English. We encourage you to express your dream in your native language and then translate it briefly into French or English.

 

Editorial Policy for Participant Contributions:

Contributions from participants, i.e., dreams deposited in the Dream Stick, undergo moderation by site administrators. The language of dreams is respected provided that the participant translates it into one of the two official languages.

 

Moderation is limited to correcting dream titles with obvious typing errors and not publishing contributions containing hateful, racist, homophobic, sexist, intimidating, defamatory, aggressive, vulgar, or any other violent nature or containing false information or participating in misinformation.

 

When it comes to texts in a language other than the official languages of Canada, special care will be taken to ensure that they also adhere to the principles outlined above.

 

Target Audience:

The target audience of the initiative is the entire population living in Canada. Special attention will be given to reaching members of Indigenous communities and organizations working with these populations.

 

Confidentiality:

Puamun Meshkenu ensures that the information disseminated on the website does not violate the rights to the protection of personal information, especially regarding the confidentiality of personal information. On submitted contributions, information about the participant's first name, age, and nation may be displayed.

 

Display Time:

Since participant contributions undergo a moderation process, their display on the website may take up to 7 days. If, after this time, the contribution is not displayed, it is implied that it goes against the provisions of this editorial policy
